"Guess the Restoration Cost" Competition

Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter

This competition is promoted by The Digger Girl Limited ("the Promoter").

2. Competition

2.1 The competition will be held at Truckfest Scotland 2026.

2.2 To enter, participants must submit their genuine estimate of the total cost of restoring the truck displayed at the event.

2.3 For the purposes of this competition, the "Restoration Cost" means the aggregate value of invoices received directly by the restorer in respect of:

• labour undertaken as part of the restoration; and
• parts and materials used in the restoration.

The Restoration Cost does not include other costs associated with the restoration, such as transport.

2.4 The Restoration Cost shall be determined solely by the Promoter using the invoices and records supplied by the restorer. The Promoter's determination of the Restoration Cost shall be final and binding.

3. Eligibility

3.1 Entry is open to individuals aged 18 years or over.

3.2 Employees, directors and immediate family members of the Promoter may not enter.

3.3 Any individual who has been involved in, or has knowledge of, the restoration project or the Restoration Cost (including but not limited to the restorer, contractors, suppliers, advisers, sponsors, collaborators or any person with access to information relating to the restoration) is not eligible to enter.

3.4 The Promoter reserves the absolute discretion to reject, disqualify or void any entry where it reasonably believes the entrant:

• had knowledge of the Restoration Cost;
• had access to information giving them an unfair advantage;
• has attempted to manipulate the competition; or
• has otherwise breached these Terms and Conditions.

4. How to Enter

4.1 Only one entry per person is permitted unless otherwise stated by the Promoter.

4.2 Entries must be completed during the competition period at Truckfest Scotland using the method specified by the Promoter.

4.3 Incomplete, illegible, fraudulent or duplicate entries may be disqualified.

5. Winner Selection

5.1 Subject to eligibility, the winner will be the entrant whose guess is closest to the Restoration Cost.

5.2 If two or more eligible entrants submit equally close guesses, the earliest valid entry received shall be deemed the winner.

5.3 The Promoter's decision in relation to all aspects of the competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

6. Prize

6.1 The winner will receive:

• one £500 Amazon.co.uk Gift Voucher; and
• a £500 donation made by the Promoter to a UK registered charity nominated by the winner.

6.2 The charitable donation will be paid directly by the Promoter to the nominated charity and will not be paid to the winner.

6.3 If the winner fails to nominate an eligible UK registered charity within 14 days of being contacted, the Promoter may nominate a charity of its choosing.

6.4 No cash alternative is available.

6.5 The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable.

7. Winner Notification

7.1 The winner will be contacted using the contact details provided on entry.

7.2 If the winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within 7 days, or is subsequently found to be ineligible, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to the next closest eligible entrant.

8. Publicity

8.1 The Promoter may publish the winner's first name, surname initial and town or county for the purposes of announcing the winner.

8.2 The winner may be invited to participate in reasonable publicity, photographs or social media content relating to the competition. Participation is voluntary.

9. Data Protection

9.1 Personal information supplied by entrants will be used solely for administering the competition, contacting the winner and arranging payment of the charitable donation.

9.2 Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation.

10. General

10.1 The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the competition where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

10.2 The Promoter reserves the right to verify the identity and eligibility of any entrant and may request reasonable evidence before awarding the prize.

10.3 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, delayed, incomplete or corrupted entries.

10.4 Any attempt to interfere with the fair running of the competition may result in immediate disqualification.

10.5 By entering the competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

11. Liability

11.1 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability which cannot lawfully be excluded.

11.2 Subject to clause 11.1, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense arising out of participation in the competition or acceptance or use of the prize.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
